Privacy policy
The short version
This site collects nothing about you. There is no form, no analytics, no cookies and no third-party requests. Nothing on this page is a promise I have to keep by being careful — it is simply what the site does, and every build checks it.
Who is responsible
kalkmangroup.co.uk is run by Toby Kalkman, trading as Kalkman Group, a sole trader based in Suffolk, United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law I am the data controller for any personal information connected with this site.
You can reach me at [email protected]. My postal address is 10 Irex Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk, NR33 7BU.
What this site collects
Nothing. There is no enquiry form and no endpoint to post to. I do not run analytics, I set no cookies of any kind, and there are no advertising pixels, embedded videos, social widgets or third-party scripts in these pages. The typefaces are served from this domain rather than from Google Fonts, so loading a page here tells nobody else that you visited.
What the host sees
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes the technical information that arrives with a request — your IP address, your browser type, the page you asked for — in order to deliver the page and to block attacks. The lawful basis for that is legitimate interests: serving and protecting the site. I do not receive those logs as a report and I do not use them to profile anybody.
If you email me
If you write to me at the address above, I hold whatever you chose to tell me in that message. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have asked me to reply, and replying is the obvious and expected use of what you sent. Messages that do not turn into work are deleted within twelve months, and sooner if you ask.
Who else sees it
Nobody. My email is provided by a standard email provider, and beyond that I do not share, sell, rent or trade your information with anyone.
The three sites this page points at
Kalkman Digital, Kalkman Tech, Kalkman Code are separate websites, each with its own privacy policy. Following a link from here takes you to one of them and this policy stops applying. They are all run by me, so the answer will not be a surprise, but read theirs rather than assuming this one covers them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask what personal data I hold about you, and get a copy of it
- have anything inaccurate corrected
- have your data deleted, where I have no legal reason to keep it
- object to my processing it, or ask me to restrict what I do with it
- ask for your data in a portable format
- withdraw consent at any time, where consent was the basis for holding it
Email me and I will deal with it. There is no charge, and I will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you think I have handled your data badly, please tell me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain directly to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. I will not quietly alter it and pretend otherwise.
